Melaka, a place where I gain my most pounds within a day! Yes, if you're into those fat free diet thingy I suggest you do not visit Melaka at all! I can come up with 5 reasons for you fat free people but I'm just going to sum it all to one word.... FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! and you guys are missing out on it! I was there last weekend for my cousin wedding dinner. Nothing special cause it was just another typical chinese dinner but the best part was the day after, which was on a Sunday. The day when I discovered that Bak Kut Teh in Melaka.... CANNOT MAKE IT I TELL YOU! It tasted more like pepper soup to me rather than getting the strong herb smell. So DO NOT have Bak Kut Teh when you're in Melaka, Klang is still the best for me. :D The only thing that actually gave me the crave to go back to Melaka is all so famous "Chu Yuk Satay" (Pork Satay). The first bite will give you one phrase coming out from your mouth which is, "OH... MY... GOD!!!" Yes, it is that tasty! It's just a must have for me everything I go there and I shall stop talking about it because I'm getting hungry.

Before you say anything, yes, I went clubbing yesterday at The Loft for the Mildseven event. No, I didn't reallly enjoy myself that much and I realised why I quit clubbing in the first place. The noise killed me, the crowd made me dizzy and NO BREAK BEATS! heh! :D The only time I'm going to step foot in a club is when Crystal Method comes down or when any other good break beat DJ's are around. Will be at the Mt. Kiara Sunrise Jazz Fest. at 11pm. Now, I got to go get ready for friends 21st birtday party.

splatspit needs money! splatspit needs to get some gear! splatspit wants to do some break beat stuff! splatspit is whining too much! *sigh* Money, that damn piece of paper that everyone needs! Some say it's the route of all evil but I say screw that shit and I need it badly! I guess I'm considered lucky in many ways already but nothing seems to satisfy us. Enough with the money issue and let's start on todays real topic which would be MUSIC! The only thing that brings people together.

I've always wanted to buy more albums but then again MONEY is always stopping me. hehehe! Ok le, enough with the money thing. I just feel like posting a number of albums that I've been listening to again and again without having them to bore me to death. So let's start off with the first genre, Electronica/Dance music.

1. The Crystal Method albums (Vegas, Tweekend, Legion of Boom)
- bestest 3 albums that I've ever bought in my life! The most played CD in my car! heh! Enough said! :D

2. Chemical Brothers (Exit Planet Dust, Dig Your Own Hole)
- when it comes to Chemical Brothers, I just simply adore the layers of raw sounds combined into it although its just playing around with sound samples, you'll still here alot of warmth in every track. Sweetness.

3. Moby (Play), Propellerheads (decksdrumsandrockandroll)
- Play, simply has alot of blues elements in it and decksdrumsandrockandroll is just simply groovy!

Done with Electronica and now, ROCK! Something that I love listening to when I'm really in the mood to shout a long with! hahaha! I guess Nirvana is the one that gave me the biggest impact those days and I'm sure it did to everyone else. Then there was Korn and Green Day. Those were the days...

1. Filter (Amalgamut)
- one CD that I didn't regret buying! It's more of a sing-a-long CD for me. Whether it's just singing gibberish without knowing the lyrics, this damn album rocks!

2. White Zombie (Astro Creep 2000)
- an album that I've been listening to since in 1997? 96? Although I haven't got myself a copy yet, a few of us like Sow, Zing and Rozhan love head banging to this hardcore industrial shit! NOTE: Never listen them while you're looking for a place that you're not sure of. I got my reasons for that due to extreme headbanging sessions. LOL!

3. Korn (Korn, Life is Peachy), Gunn 'N' Roses, Rage Against the Machine
- till now, Korn simply amazes me because of its raw sounding tracks and weird ass tunes, GNR the bestest band that will kick me into EMO mode. RATM, just love jamming along with their songs.

After having alot of exposure to Rock my dad introduced to me Jazz! Yeap, he was the one who actually got me into it during the Phillips Jazz Fest at Stadium Putra. Can't remember which year was it but it was the year when Diana Krall and Sadao Watanabe performed.

1. John Scoffield (uberjam)
- thanks to Az because he was the culprit who got me hooked on to this damn album. I love John's guitar tone because it was really unique. It has this damn clashing note sound that sounds really nice plus it was an experimental album with alot of electronica elements into it.

2. Umezu Kiki Band
- got the album when they were performing in Atmosphere Twelve SI and I was there with Melvin during the show. This band has loads of rock into their jazz which is really mind blowing. Also, I think Umezu, the saxophonist, is one of the best I've ever heard. He does alot of shredding on his saxophone just like a guitarist would. Japs I tell, CRAZY MUSICIANS!

3. Other Jazz Standards
- no matter how old one song may be for jazz, jazz standards have always been a favourite for musicians. The best thing that you can get from jazz, having people playing jazz standards in different grooves and styles, may it be swing, latin or funk.

Not to forget our local acts such as, Estranged, Love Me Butch, Tempered Mental, Naked Breed, Az Samad, Shelley Leong, Groove Unction, Double Take, etc. are a number of bands that I love listening to as well. Sadly, they don't get much recognition compared to international acts.

I think I've just wrote my longest post ever and these are just my own opinion about them. Well it's up to you all to judge your own favourite since music is subjective. :) Till then, let the music feed your soul! Woohoo! :D

Seafood Twisties + Tom Yam Twisties + Cheese Chilli Corntos + Rocky Chocolate + Nestle Milkybars Chocolate + 3 pieces fried nangka. These is how much i bought within 5 minutes. Shouldn't have walked downstairs. Was kicked out from the office. Colleagues forced to to grab a bite which i grabbed many bites from all the junk food i bought.

The London bombing had a great effect worldwide. For me, I just didn't have any feelings towards it. Guess I'm heartless. I didn't even wonder how my friends over there were doing. I didn't even bother texting them. How mean can I be. Maybe I left everything back there and just forgo all the memories. I used to be very close to this girl, "A" back then. Somehow, her attitude drove everyone away. I stuck by her, I helped her but yet she's so ungrateful. Atitude Bitch No. 1! By asking her a favour it is as if we are asking her for the hardest and most difficult favour on earth. In the end she would make a big fuss and create havoc among all and make it sound as if everything is your fault and she's the poor lil' girl having to go through everything on earth. Who helped her through out her final year project? Who helped her shift house? Who stood by her? Who was the one to lend a shoulder everything something happens? Who helped her study? I guess all these were forgotten. You know what, i don't give a fucking damn cause I never did. Guess I was just like a fucking maid.

Do I look like a fucking maid to you? No, I still don't hate or despise her. I just pity her for the way she is. No wonder she lack of friends. Money/cash/items could be lost but friendship stays. For her material items are more important that friendship. Fuck it man. Blabbering something so 'out-of-the-story' seems to be her thing. Worst bit to someone whom she hasn't spoken to in a year and also neither is she close to that person. Just a plain fucking bitch with no penis' to satisfy her.

Upon telling what happened to my hubby and my close friend, both of their reactions was why didn't she die in the bombing. No matter how bad the case is I would never curse anyone like that. She maybe the bitch of all bitches but no matter how she doesn't deserve to die.

Anyhow, I need a fucking break. I need a long holiday. I've been under a lot of stress lately. Weight is dipping and soon i'll be all bones again (I don't mind). Anyhow, off I go. Ciaoz

Long long time since I last blogged! Many thanks to all the birthday wishes that I got from everyone and what did I do for my birthday? ASSIGNMENT! Yes, sad huh? Got myself 3 wonderful CDs today. Best part is, I got it really cheap! Like, 70% off each CD! Yeah man! Woaaaahh.. it is! Got it from Power Station Sunway Pyramid when my Mom called me during lunch and told me to get my ass there if I wanted any CDs. Being a useless kid, I got my sorry lil' ass there. Limited choices so this is what I bought...
